Moving through Life

Embodied Arts Education for Youth
(Ages 3-18)

Exploration Meets Integration

In youth sessions, I work with children 1:1 to develop their movement capacity, make connections in the nervous system and brain, identify and regulate emotions, express what is lacking in language, set and respect boundaries, build resilience, and help the child develop the capacity to self-resource.

Left-Brain/Right-Brain Learning

As an educator, my goal is always to make learning fun, interesting, and choice-driven through play, constraints, and props. Children navigate problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking through movement and expressive arts as a tool for mirroring life and the lived experience.

Creating Space

Children should have the space to move, dance, make a mess, make choices, and be their wildest, most embodied self.

Creating space for their exploration gives children a sense of autonomy around their expression and curiosity.
