(Re)Connecting with Yourself
Embodied expressive arts sessions are a non-judgmental environment where you can feel witnessed, accepted, and understood. Our time together creates space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of criticism or rejection. Clients receive permission to express themselves authentically, fostering emotional catharsis and self-discovery.

Somatic movement therapy and education emphasize the mind-body connection and the role of the body in processing emotions and traumatic experiences. Clients who practice this work are encouraged to tune into and track their bodily sensations, movements, and postures to access deeper layers of awareness. By having the space to explore somatically, you can uncover valuable insights and integrate your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical selves.

Sessions also offer you the opportunity to deconstruct and reconstruct your personal narratives. Through verbal expression, storytelling, or writing, you can revisit your life experiences and give meaning to your past, present, and future. By exploring and reshaping your narratives, you'll gain a sense of agency and ownership over your own stories.

These and other approaches (guided visualizations, breathwork, and movement) give you permission to delve into your inner world, embrace your innate wisdom, explore your body, engage in creative expression, and create meaning in your life. You will have space to integrate your experiences, foster personal growth, and enhance your overall well-being for a more fulfilling, easeful life.
What a Session May Include
Somatic Movement Exploration
Expressive Arts Modalities
Somatic movement therapy is a holistic approach that acknowledges the unique experiences and needs of each individual. Somatic exploration encompasses the practice of noticing and experiencing sensations, qualities, and movement patterns within the body. It integrates nervous system regulation, mindfulness, grounding, and breathwork to promote body-mind connection, self-awareness, and overall well-being.
Expressive arts work utilizes various creative mediums to help clients explore their inner world. Clients can tap into their subconscious mind and access symbols, metaphors, and imagery that represent their thoughts, feelings, and desires. Creative exploration creates a potential for new perspectives, enabling a person to make connections and discover insights about themselves.
Thought Work, Routines & Rituals, and Meaning-Making
Thought work helps clients challenge negative or debilitating thoughts and learn to develop a more empowering belief system. Routines and rituals provide structure, reduce stress, and promote self-care. Meaning-making enhances resilience, fosters a sense of purpose, and supports personal growth and fulfillment. Through this practice, we (re)connect with ourselves.
